For the second alternative of this holiday home in northern Slovakia, the focus was on a cosy yet modern ambience that has a certain wow factor. The house is used for short-term rentals and therefore needed to be not only inviting, but also practical and durable to meet the needs of families with children.

In designing this project, I decided to use natural materials such as wood and stone to create a connection with the natural environment. The result is a space that looks like a modern wooden cabin, combining cosiness and modern comfort.

The wood panelling runs throughout the room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The stone accents add a rustic touch to the interior while adding a touch of elegance.
